YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A fairly new cafe on the west side of Youngstown on Saturday will host what it calls Craft by Common Goods.
Common Goods Studio already sells all kinds of handmade and local crafts, but this weekend they’ll have over 50 vendors to buy.
“There’s a very different type, like in Common Goods, it’s everything from $ 12,000 tables to $ 3 socks. It’s a bit the same thing. We have someone who really does tie-dye for women, kids, and young adults. We have someone who makes bagels… literally something for everyone, ”said Sheri Bodo, owner of Common Goods.
Bodo said she wanted to create a sense of community for entrepreneurs and neighbors.
“I think it’s really important to create a place of destination in the city and having a place of destination really means serving the businesses that strengthen the local economy. So I really make sure I have a piece of every part of town right here at Common Goods, ”she said.
The event will take place directly across from Common Goods in the cemetery at the corner of Bears Den and Canfield roads. It will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is free for everyone and your Common Goods coffee will be 10% off.
This will be their last summer market, but there will be another market for the holidays.
